Brain dump to task list

Empty your head in one go. Type or talk, as messy as it comes, and get back separate tasks with the dates you mentioned.

Type or dictate. It does not need to be tidy.

Why a brain dump helps when your head is full

Holding ten things in mind takes effort of its own, and with ADHD that effort runs out fast. Getting everything out, without sorting it first, frees up the attention you need to actually start. Sorting is where it usually stalls, so this tool does that part for you.

It pulls out each thing you need to do, keeps your wording, and picks up dates and times like "tomorrow at 9" or "by Friday". Worries, ideas and things to remember are kept apart as notes, so they are not lost and do not pretend to be tasks.

Common questions

What is a brain dump?

A brain dump is writing or saying everything that is on your mind without ordering or judging it: tasks, worries, ideas, reminders. The goal is to stop carrying it in your head. Sorting comes after, and that is what this tool does.

Do I have to write neatly?

No. Half sentences, tangents and several things in one breath are fine. In browsers that support dictation you can also tap the microphone and talk.

Is my text stored?

Your text is sent to an AI model to be sorted and is not stored by Recordo. The list stays in your browser unless you choose to save it to the Recordo app.

How many times can I use it?

Three brain dumps a day are free on this page. The Recordo app turns what you say into tasks the same way, and keeps them.
