Recordo Coach can now remember useful details about how you work and use them in future chats.
Tell it that mornings are difficult, long plans feel overwhelming, or you prefer one clear next step. The next time you ask for help, you do not have to explain the same thing again.
Memory is optional, visible, and under your control. You can review what Recordo saved, edit or delete individual memories, or remove everything.
Your Coach no longer starts from zero
ADHD does not create one universal working style. A detailed plan can calm one person and overwhelm another. One person needs help starting, while another needs help stopping before one task consumes the whole afternoon.
Generic advice misses those differences. For a Coach to feel genuinely personal, it needs more than an ADHD label. It needs to learn which approaches tend to help you.
Without memory, that context has to be repeated in every new conversation. Explaining yourself becomes another task between you and the help you wanted.
Now Recordo Coach can carry useful details forward, so it begins closer to the kind of support that fits you.
What Recordo can remember
Useful memories are details that could make a future answer more specific and easier to follow. For example:
- You prefer plans with no more than three steps.
- Starting is easier when the first step names a physical action.
- Your best concentration usually comes after lunch.
- You want a calm response when you feel overwhelmed, not motivational pressure.
- You often underestimate how long getting ready takes.
These details can change the plan Recordo suggests, the number of options it gives you, the tone of its response, or the time it recommends for difficult work.
It remembers useful details, not every conversation
Recordo does not treat your entire chat history as one permanent profile. It stores compact memories, then brings a relevant set into a later conversation when they may help.
This matters because not everything you say should become a lasting fact. A difficult day is not your identity. A temporary deadline is not a permanent priority.
Your current message takes priority when something changes. You can also correct or remove an old memory instead of having to work around it.
You stay in control
Every saved memory is visible under Personal context and memory in your Profile. You can edit a memory, delete one item, or choose Delete all memories.
Recordo keeps direct and automatic memory controls separate, so you decide how the Coach learns:
Nothing is hidden behind the chat. The same screen shows what is enabled and exactly what has been saved.
- Remember useful details enables memory and lets you ask the Coach to remember or forget something.
- Remember automatically is an optional beta setting that can notice useful details without a direct request.
Turning memory off immediately stops Recordo from using saved memories. They remain visible until you turn memory back on or permanently delete them.
How to use memory in Recordo
Open Profile, then Personal context and memory. Under What's hard for me, you can choose patterns such as Hard to start, Time slips, or Too many choices.
Turn on Remember useful details. Then tell the Coach something concrete that would improve future answers:
- Remember that mornings are difficult for me.
- Remember that I prefer plans with no more than three steps.
- Remember that I do my best focused work after lunch.
- Remember that encouragement helps, but urgency makes me shut down.
If something changes, ask the Coach to forget it, replace the detail in chat, or edit it from your Profile.
To let Recordo notice useful details automatically, turn on Remember automatically. Anything it saves appears on the same screen, where you can review or remove it.
A Coach that learns what works
The best ADHD support is rarely a bigger pile of advice. It is the right amount of help, shaped for the person and the moment.
Memory gives Recordo Coach a chance to learn that difference. It can remember that a twelve-step plan is too much, mornings are unreliable, or you need one calm action when everything feels urgent.
It does not need to know everything about you. It needs to remember enough that you do not have to begin every chat by explaining your ADHD all over again.
